What is MufuChat?
Chat has currently ended for this academic year and will be taking a break over the summer.
MufuChat is a weekly chat looking at key issues in the world of music education. Running on Twitter since 2013, it’s a great opportunity to talk about what matters in music education.
When does the chat take place?
Chats take place every Wednesday at 8.30pm (GMT) on Twitter (term time only). The chat lasts for one hour but some members of the music education community will post outside of this time frame.
How do I take part?
You can contribute to pre- and post-chat right now just by commenting on any of the discussions. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #mufuchat!
Who are the hosts?
MuFuChat is hosted by experienced Musical Futures Champion Teacher Sharon Jagdev Powell. You can read more about Sharon here, or see her on Twitter. However, we are always looking for volunteers to lead discussions on topics that are important.
How can I become a host, or suggest a topic?
If you have an idea for a topic for a MufuChat, or would like to host for a week, then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, telling us the topic you’d like to lead and a key question for the chat.
