Due to exceptional demand we’ve extended our competition to include students up to the age of 19, so that young people in college and sixth form can take part.
Musical Futures along with our partners Education & Bass are launching an exciting competition for young people (aged 11-18) to remix a specially created track. We believe that music in school should incorporate the music that young people like, enjoy and identify with and that means music that’s created using technology. NOTE: The competition is open to students and young people 19 and under* and we have a full package of resources, along with track stems and video tutorials from Education & Bass to help teachers deliver lessons supporting students in creating their remix.
* Students from schools outside the UK are welcome to enter the Remix Competition on the understanding that if any their entry is selected as one of the winners, they will be eligible for the main prize (their track being pressed and released on vinyl, digital and streaming services internationally) OR any other prizes which can be delivered electronically (e.g. software, subscriptions etc).
