What do you do?

I’m a teacher of Music & Music Tech at Larbert High School near Falkirk in Scotland. I am also currently the Scottish Qualification Authority’s Depute Principal Assessor for Music Tech (Higher).

What is your background?

I graduated from the BA Applied Music course at Strathclyde Uni in 2000 and worked as a sound engineer and gigging musician for a few years before going back to Edinburgh Uni in 2005 to get my PGCE.

What music are you listening to at the moment?

As it’s been exam prep time,  the last 5 songs I’ve listened to today are by Scott Joplin, Paul Towndrow,  Swedish House Mafia, The Nolans and John Lee Hooker 😀
