Lizzie Crump

Lizzie Crump runs the Cultural Learning Alliance (CLA), a collective voice working to ensure that all children and young people have meaningful access to culture in this difficult economic climate.

Lizzie specialises in making connections between education and culture, and is a strong advocate for young people’s access to arts and cultural opportunities.  Although her expertise extends across arts and cultural forms, she is particularly passionate about children’s literature, and the place of technology in supporting learning.  She has managed the Cultural Learning Alliance since 2010: during this time she has also undertaken a Clore Leadership Programme Learning Fellowship, and advised and carried out research for The Innovation Unit, Partnerships for Schools, the Department for Education and Arts Council England.
