Bespoke Training

Professional development for schools and organisations

In addition to the many Musical Futures training in-person and online events we co-ordinate and run each year, we offer a range of professional development and consultancy for schools and organisations in both the UK and internationally.

Our experience comes from almost 20 years of designing, applying and adapting Musical Futures teaching and learning strategies in classrooms with commissions and events ranging from presentations and taster sessions at conferences, to full training, workshops for teachers or students and consultancy packages that focus on practical music making and collaborative planning to develop and extend the skills of school based and instrumental staff.

What our participants say…

A brilliant session for primary teachers

I loved how practical the session was and how we all got stuck in; the trainer was so welcoming and open and offered so many tips and tricks and different ways to use the Musical Futures resources.

Practical advice

This was a fantastic day, giving me lots of ideas and reinvigorated how I approach things. It will influence our schemes of work and how they are delivered massively right from Year 7 upwards.

Highly recommended

Great to work on the ideas practically and try out all the examples as a "student". Lots of ideas to introduce a more practical approach to whole class teaching in KS3 and at GCSE
